The tacos here are so bomb. I really wasn't expecting the spicy shrimp tacos to taste so good. Also the flavored lemonade was super refreshing afterwards. The only problem was the staff, they were just kinda aloof and not very alert or helpful. They didnt seem very interested in their customer service or being attentive at all, otherwise I'd give a better rating....

Pretty good Tacos. Would recommend to my hippie friends for some tacos. I will def come back to help take the edge off my taco desires.

The service was great and the food was super tasty! Everyone there was super nice and genuine. A little bit hard to find speaking honestly but an awesome find for sure! I got a loaded quesadilla and I can say it actually filled me up! Super stuffed and cooked to perfection and didnt even get gross and soggy like most other place's quesadillas do. You can tell they cook their food with fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back. Also totally dig the vibes and culture they've created! Old rusty signs, an old washing machine outside from like the 70s or 80s, funny signs, stickers, just a really cool place!

Great fresh tacos higher quality than most tacos and burritos that advertise as "authentic". Service is always friendly and fast, and atmosphere is great. Prices are extremely competitive as well. Always make a point to come by when I am in the area. BYOB here too. I always get the fried fish, grilled fish and cactus tacos!

Totally amazing food! I had the surf and turf nachos. The steak and shrimp in the nachos were incredibly tasty and delicious. Definitely a must order!

I'm in town for business and was told that I absolutely must eat here. It did not disappoint. Small place with a focus on putting out fabulous food. Friendly staff and a cool place to sit outside. I'm from NY so I was against outdoor seating in that heat (was there in August) but the misters made for a pleasant outdoor experience. I had the most wonderful grilled shrimp burrito with salsa Verde that was both filling but light. Will definitely go again if I come back.

Home in the wall taco joint with absolutely amazing tacos and burritos. Minimal parking, but you can park around the block. I love the food here and it's a great place to bring friends

Food was delicious. We had some fish tacos, green chili burrito and quesadilla. Great price with some great flavors. The have a hot salsa but it just taste like chili and spicy. No other flavor, guess to me it needs salt some salt. A friend got chicken burrito, felt more like a bean burrito and not enough chicken. Otherwise food was great.

Really fantastic tacos! The spicy shrimp is incredible! The reason I'm not giving 5 stars though is because we've ordered carryout twice and both times the modifications to the order were not made. Our mods were preference and not dietary/allergy related so we were able to make due. I even checked the receipt to make sure I put the mods on there. No extra sauces were given either time even though they were purchased. Double check your order before you walk away. I hate scraping off cheese or sauce I requested to not be there. That being said, still bomb tacos.

Hands down the best burrito bowl I’ve ever eaten! Server was super friendly, wait time was 5 minutes. Social distancing signs were prominent. All over great experience. (This is a walk up window restaurant, please don’t rate lower because you have to wait outside! They have misters and plenty of shade).

Wow, what a great taco joint! I've passed it many times over the years when visiting Phoenix but finally took the time to stop in for lunch. While we took ours to-go there was no shortage of seating on the patios. Ordering was quick and easy despite so many delicious things to choose from. 3-tacos for $6 is an amazing deal and one can mix and match proteins. I went with fish tacos, 2 fried, 1 grilled. All 3 were cooked to perfection, with a great sauce and soft flour tortillas. Picked up a side of chips and salsa, the green salsa was cool and tasty, a definite flip side of the volcano sauce I also sampled (which seared a lava-like patch across my tongue!) We walked away with a huge bag of food for about $20. I can't believe I passed this place so many times, I'll definitely be back on my next visit to PHX!

Best mango habanero grilled fish tacos! They have other stuff too, but this is my favorite! They are following social distancing guidelines and are getting food out super fast. The owners are wonderful people, you'll see them there, they keep it quality, consistent, and fresh. Fun environment too.

Found this place on one of those random Facebook pages and I’m glad we came. We got here at just the right time, we were able to walk right in and order. Shortly after the line was about 15 people deep, but they are very efficient and the line appeared to move quickly and the food was dispensed just as fast and fresh. As others have pointed out, they are extremely reasonably priced. It’s not listed anywhere, but they are BYOB.

Two Hippies is and has always been an awesome place to eat. The environment is so relaxing and you get a nostalgic feeling looking at all of the art and old fashioned things from time past. Love Two Hippies and they get my vote every time. The burritos that we had yesterday evening were simply amazing and just right. Thumbs up for you all.

First time here and can't wait to come back. Tried the fried fish taco, grilled shrimp taco, and the spicy sauce. All very fresh and tasty. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Its simply legit. People, food, building, seating, location...we go here 6-8x a month, might even hit it again today.

The shrimp tacos are Amazing along with the other menu items! This is my new favorite taco jointt in Phoenix! There's a long line but definitely worth the wait. TWO THUMBS UP FOR THIS PLACE! 👍👍

I haven't been to Two Hippies for 10 yrs. I went there today after PT it was fast delicious same great customer service. The fish tacos are amazing! The spicy shrimp tacos were just as delicious as the fish tacos. I have to say it seems a little bit more if an upgrade. Fabulous! Thank you for those delish tacos today. Will definitely be back.

Best friend fish tacos ever! The prices are even better. 3 tacos for 6 bucks! And you can bring your own beer!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I tried to pick up 2 orders for a food delivering service at this location and I waited over an hour for my orders. I ended up having to cancel my order because there were taking too long. I asked them are my orders ready yet 3 times while I was there and each time they said it will be out soon. They don’t have a waiting area inside so you have to wait outside for your orders. It was incredibly rude of them to not only have me wait that long but they didn’t do or say anything to apologize. I highly recommend avoiding this place and I’m doing everything in my power so the company I work for won’t accept deliveries from there anymore.

Delicious little taco stand, the place has a fun busy but face paced atmosphere. The marinated shrimp tacos were moist with just the right amount of kick. Delicious tortilla shells were a pleasant surprise.

This place is hands down my favorite burrito/taco place I have ever been!! There was a point where it was every meal of my day for a long stretch of time until i moved... BUT I still drive the now 25 miles out of my way to enjoy the deliciousness as often as i can! Great owners, great employees, quick service no matter how busy, and great atmosphere! Cant go wrong with this place 100% legit

Never disappoints every time i go! Food is fresh off the grill, tacos are garnished perfectly! Even though their was a long line wrapped around the restaurant they made your food as you walked in & pretty much had your order ready by the time you cashed out or sat down to eat. The staff is all smiles and super duper friendly. They didn't crack under pressure and pushed through the dinner time rush. I absolutely love Two Hippies!!!

The chicken is a mix of dark and white which is bad for me. I ordered the shredded beef burrito, which had no flavor, and they use the same cabbage mix in all burritos which is not creative. Guava ice had little flavor. Burritos for the lower class.

I love the vibes of this place. I got 3 different tacos they were all good but the fried fish really was the best. Perfectly crisp and really good flavor. I’d totally eat here again ✌🏻

I had 2 shrimp tacos, a blood orange lemonade slush, and chips n guac. Their chips are SO GOOD. They tasted similar to the tortilla so I'm assuming they make their own in house..? But I could be wrong. Either way I will go back soon! Also their sitting area is so cute.

Food was awesome can't wait to go eat there again when we don't have to eat in our cars. Covid and be over anytime now... Lemonade was also great!

The tacos are delicious and inexpensive, fresh and authentic ingredients. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the custom lemonade slushees make this hole in the wall taco stand worth the visit. I highly recommend it.

I love the food here but I'm dropping them 2 stars because they're failing to follow social distancing guidelines. Customers are on top of each other. The person taking orders could easily remind people to spread out, or they could put up clear signage. I won't be returning until they address this. I'll spend my money only at places that do it properly.

We just moved to central Phoenix, and were searching for some more local places to eat (not chain restaurants) and came across Two Hippies! It was such a cute place with outdoor seating. We got there at the right time, just before 6 pm, and the place was packed when we left... but for good reasons! I had a shrimp burrito and it was phenomenal! I cant wait to go back and visit again.

This is a pretty cool little place! I got their red chili shredded beef, green chili shredded beef and fried fish tacos! The nachos were nothing to brag about but the delish tacos far outweighed the nachos.

This place is AMAZING!! No matter what you get here it’s delicious. I got the grilled fish taco and shrimp burrito. Staff is always friendly. Parking can be hard to find sometimes but its worth it.

Best tacos I've ever had! Great customer service. I've been here several times and have never had any bad experience! Shrimp tacos with sweet Chile sauce, fried fish taco with sweet Chile, cactus taco with sweet Chile and the shrimp burrito are items that I usually get. My boyfriend usually gets the steak tacos or burrito with sweet Chile. There's literally nothing you could order that's not amazing lol. Also put sweet Chile on everything because it's bomb! 😂

We have been wanting to try this place- SO GLAD we did! One of my husband's friends at work brought a burrito for him to try and he absolutely loved it. While in Phoenix today having my car serviced, we decided to go for lunch...what amazing food and the price was unbelievably fair! I definitely recommend for anybody that loves mexican food. The staff all were very friendly as well. This place gets a "10" from us!

Orderd Fried fish, chicken and pork tacos.Of those fish was best and chicken was dry and tasteless. Also had a loaded beef quesadilla and that was good but not great. Although this was my first time I would not recommend to a friend...too many other great Taco spots in Phoenix.

Best fish tacos in town and I try everywhere when I first moved here and hands down two hippies beach house fish or shrimp tacos are the best! This quarantine has not been the same with my tacos 🤣 I'm mad I moved because I was going everyday seriously

I absolutely love this place! I drive all the way from Surprise. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and the owners are awesome. Definitely the best fish tacos around!

One the best hidden gems of the city. The food is great, staff is super friendly, and the outdoor seating makes this a great low key taco experience. Highly recommend if you can catch them when they are open; get the surf and turf burrito!
